Toby Sutton returns to making wonderful carved wood 1:20 scale model cars

After a two-year hiatus, Toby Sutton returns to making his wonderful carved wood 1:20 scale model cars. Each is made to order, and by hand in his home-based workshop in England. Toby’s latest pieces are a superb Alfa Romeo Alfetta Grand Prix car, and a Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner. Previous models have included Jaguar C and D Types, an Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 MM Spyder, and others.  Each body is made of English Walnut with lighter trim details made of Sycamore. Tires are wood, painted matte black, and wheels are hand laced wire in wood rims. The Alfetta is priced at £395 (approx. $500 USD).
