We met “Old School Alex” from Windsor, Colorado at the Amelia Island Concours 2019. He uses old fashioned wood cutting tools to create a large “stamp”, rolls on ink, and then “prints” 10 limited editions. Block Printing. It’s very tactile.The limited-edition prints are $5,000 each.
Once the 10 prints are made the “stamp” is poly-coated and available for $30,000. His old school art of block printing is large, impressive, and stunningly beautiful in its simplicity.
