I have 2 quart cans of amolube motor oil. They are original. I was wondering what year did they stop putting oil in cans?

I am looking for any information I can find about the s.o.s. products company NJ. I bought and old fuel/oil can with a paper label but cannot find anything at all on the can or the company.

Does anyone have information regarding Festus Stacy who patented the oil can? I am doing a National History Day project and would like to learn more about the standardizing of the oil can (which made Festus Stacy rich). I would appreciate any information.
