Jul/Aug 2022 edition Issue #23 Automobilia Resource Magazine Written by Germany Greer Savoy Automobile Museum was named after a 1954 Plymouth Savoy car that was discovered during the excavation of the building’s foundation. The museum has dedicated its efforts to the community by building a theater space for social events, historical lectures, conferences and discussions from the automobile world. They have supported automotive artists by purchasing and displaying their impressive craft throughout the museum. This outstanding collection of classic cars, memorabilia, and artistic renderings is collectively intriguing and remarkably well presented.
Museum tip: The museum has five exhibition galleries. One is the permanent Savoy Collection. The other four are rotating galleries which change themes every four to six weeks. Themes range from American Racing to Woodies and Art Deco. Be sure to check their exhibition calendar before you go!
