2010 RM Southeby's James Bond Original 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Sales Dossier Catalog:
Created for the sale of James Bond Original 1964 Aston Martin DB5 sold at the RM/Sotheby's auction at Battersea Evolution, London, October 27, 2010. This is an original spy-themed presentation for this Aston of Sean Connery's Goldfinger movie fame, and later upgraded and used in Thunderball. 36 pages of photos and provenance, cleverly disguised as a well-used dossier, complete with stains and tape marks printed on the covers, which are made to resemble a file folder. Lots of fascinating detail about the "James Bond" 1964 Aston Martin DB5 and its gadgetry (machine guns, oil slick sprayer, and rear bullet-proof shied, among others).
This car sold for nearly £3million at auction, which was considered a screaming bargain for this world-famous Aston. An essential addition to any James Bond or Aston Martin collection. Catalog measures approximately 8.5" x 10.5" (22 x 27cm). In beautiful, new conditio Don't be fooled by what look like stains on the covers and throughout the book. This one is in very good condition with a few creases on the tab.
If you haven't seen this piece before, it's all printed there, designed to make you feel like Bond took the mission dossier to Morocco, and set his martini down on the first page.
