Irene and Carter Davis have collected paint advertising plus other vintage advertising items for the past 40 years. Their love of advertising and collecting started before they were married or even knew one another. The two together had a common thread that created the “perfect storm” for collecting. Each managed their own business, and on the weekends, they would travel to shows. Now retired, they have opened two antique shops in their area – Studebaker’s Garage and Studebaker’s Country Store. Their son, Jamie, works with them and handles the two shops and ships orders while they travel to shows and hunt for vintage pieces for their customers.
